The HELP the Animals Inc located in Richmond Indiana is an Animal Shelter that provides temporary housing and care for stray unwanted and owner-relinquished animals including dogs and cats in Wayne County. Regulation of the treatment of animals takes place on the federal state and local level. The vision of Pet Friendly Services is to help every Indiana animal shelter reach and maintain zero-kill status through financial assistance and education as well as advocate on State and local levels for effective and humane animal welfare legislation while serving as a successful model for other states throughout the country. The goal of wildlife rehabilitation is to release wildlife back into the wild. 4-H Exhibitors may receive clipping and grooming assistance from members of their immediate family father mother and siblings from a current Indiana 4-H member and from individuals enrolled in the Indiana 4-H Approved Animal Grooming Assistance Program.

Donate to the Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund. Acts of torture and physical abuse of an animal are a crime in Indiana. Indiana state law prohibits cruelty abandonment and neglect of animals.
